When love is transformed into everyday life you may called it generosity.
When generosity is institutionalized you may called it philanthropy.
Philanthropy does not stand by itself.
It grows from beliefs, from cultures.
It gets benefit from politics, it makes use of politics.
State giving is not philanthropy, it is service.
Philanthropy is something which is voluntary and non government.
Philanthropy creates civil society.
Philanthropy could not stand without politics
Politics of winning the heaven; winning people heart and mind; winning people's money.
Ethics and limitation of philanthropy is needed.
To make a balance between company advertisement and company charity;
between doing generosity and finding popularity
between giving love to God and supporting terrorist organization
between secrecy of giving and transparancy
between personal giving and government service
between love of oneself and to other human
between exclusive love and inclusive one.
Love is power
Positive power of love is philanthropy
Giving to religion is philanthropy
Giving to public service is philanthropy
However, giving to separatis organization is philanthropy
Giving to protest movements is philanthropy too.
As love, philanthropy has white, black and grey areas, depend on who, when, where, what.
